Booklist Reviews : Booklist Reviews 2016 April #2 In the action-packed finale to the Storm Siren trilogy, Nym is battling many issues. The evil creature Draewulf is actively trying to become all powerful, while his wraith armies relentlessly push closer to Nym's homeland of Faelen. Eogan is free from Draewulf's powerful hold but still battles with fears of his own. Lord Myles and Nym both have remnants of black power running through their veins, making it challenging to work their magic and defend Faelen. The romantic tension between Nym and Eogan grows stronger, while Nym feels pressure to use her Elemental powers to combat Draewulfâdespite knowing she cannot win. With strong Christian overtones, the story has many battles and explores the costs that come from fighting evil, whether external powers or the evil within the human heart. This novel will be difficult to follow for those new to the series, but for readers who have cheered Nym and Faelen on, the conclusion will be both painful and satisfying.
